About

Zach Huber is a GIS Developer/Analyst specializing in modern solutions for spatial problems. He brings a strong interdisciplinary background in computer science, geography, and GIS, with experience in web development, spatial data analytics, object-oriented programming, and remote sensing.

Zach earned his undergraduate degrees from the University of Colorado Boulder, including a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s in Geography with a GIS emphasis, along with a Minor in Philosophy and certificates in GIS and Computational Science.

At Walker of All Trades, Zach has focused on applying his computer science and geography background to transportation-weather challenges, including web-based tools that help visualize the relationship between hourly snowfall and speed data along Colorado’s I-70 corridor.

Featured Project: I-70 Weather-Related Closure Exposure Dashboard

Zach contributed to the development of a web-based dashboard focused on roadway closure exposure and weather-related transportation impacts. The dashboard supports exploration of closure patterns and exposure along key Colorado corridors.
